Role Overview

The Asset Manager will support the Asset & Governance Manager and on-site Operations Team in creating and implementing asset management strategies. This role focuses on optimizing asset performance, ensuring compliance, and developing maintenance plans. Key responsibilities include improving data quality, integrating new standards, and supporting contract mobilizations.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Optimize Asset Efficiency: Utilize ISO 55001 best practices to enhance asset efficiency.
  • Policy Development: Support the development and implementation of asset management policies and procedures.
  • System Integration: Assist in creating effective interfaces with client CMMS systems for benchmarking and performance comparisons.
  • Contract Mobilization: Manage contract mobilizations and asset onboarding processes.
  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative culture with engineering operations and stakeholders.
  • Data Quality: Highlight asset performance and data quality issues through data analysis.
  • Maintenance Plans: Ensure building asset management plans are regularly updated and assets perform as designed.
  • Data Collection: Implement processes for asset data collection and lifecycle planning.
  • Process Reviews: Conduct periodic reviews of asset management processes and procedures.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor asset performance and develop solutions for underperforming assets.
  • BIM Standards: Advise on BIM standards and implementation.
  • CMMS Management: Maintain high-quality information in CMMS systems from fault diagnostics through to job completion, ensuring real-time information is available for customer communication and data analysis.

Skills & Experience

  • Education: Ideally HNC/HND in a relevant discipline (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience: Proven experience in asset management, lifecycle management, customer service, and change management.
  • Certifications: Ideally IAM Certificate in Asset Management; IAM Diploma preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office 365, CMMS/CAFM systems, data analysis techniques, MS Excel, Sequel databases, and MS Access.
  • Professional Memberships: Desired memberships include IAM, IET, CIBSE, BIFM, IFMA, RICS.
