We are looking for an experienced Asset Network Manager, ideally with a background in plant and tool hire, someone who thrives on challenge and working in a constantly changing and evolving environment.

Joining the high-performing Asset Management team, you'll be a crucial member of the team and use your experience within the hire industry to help us achieve our objectives.
Overall purpose of this role will be to effectively manage a team overseeing asset life cycles throughout the Speedy Group. This will include managing the capital expenditure and disposal budgets by contributing to purchasing decisions and the end of life decision-making process and to control the asset distribution/re-distribution processes within the network.
What you’ll need:
- Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general PC skills
- Experience in managing a small team
- Strong experience in Asset Management
- Ability to plan and organize own workload, while working under pressure to strict deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, a confident communicator, with the ability to tailor communication methods to a diverse audience
- Good attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, and high-quality work
- Adaptable and flexible approach to work
- Self-motivated and drive for continuous improvement
- Ability to be trusted when dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- A change-champion who embraces change and is a natural “out of the box” thinker
- Able to prioritize a multi-channel workload, through the allocation of work to your team, whilst identifying trends and constantly reviewing performance
- A pragmatic approach to problem-solving, combined with a solid understanding of root-cause analysis
- Strong IT Skills, with a proficient knowledge of MS Excel skills (V-Lookup / Pivot / Data Manipulation
- Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy – Decade to Deliver
