We are looking for an experiencedAsset Network Manager, ideally with a background in plant and tool hire, someone who thrives on challenge and working in a constantly changing and evolving environment.

Joining the high-performing Asset Management team, you'll be a crucial member of the team and use your experience within the hire industry to help us achieve our objectives.

Overall purpose of this role will be to effectively manage a team overseeing asset life cycles throughout the Speedy Group. This will include managing the capital expenditure and disposal budgets by contributing to purchasing decisions and the end of life decision making process and to control the asset distribution/re-distribution processes within the network.

What you'll need:
  • Excellent Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general PC skills
  • Experience in managing a small team.
  • Strong experience in Asset Management
  • Ability to plan and organise own workload, while working under pressure to strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, a confident communicator, with the ability to tailor communication methods to a diverse audience
  • Good attention to detail and ability to deliver accurate, and high-quality work.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work
  • Self-motivated and drive for continuous improvement
  • Ability to be trusted when dealing with sensitive and confidential information.
  • A change-champion who embraces change and are a natural out of the box thinker.
  • Able to prioritise a multi-channel workload, through the allocation of work to your team, whilst identifying trends and constantly reviewing performance
  • A pragmatic approach to problem solving, combined with a solid understanding of root-cause analysis.
  • Strong IT Skills, with a proficient knowledge of MS Excel skills (V-Lookup / Pivot / Data Manipulation
  • Ability to support your business unit/team to deliver our ESG Strategy - Decade to Deliver.
