Assistant Accountant Job In Doncaster

Elevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a fantastic business in the Doncaster area as they look to recruit an Assistant Accountant into their team on a full time, permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Posting Journals
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Supporting with purchase ledger when needed
• Bank reconciliations
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and capex management
• Nominal ledger reconciliations
• Supporting with the audit
• Intercompany reconciliations
• Ad-hoc duties and reporting as required

Person Specification:

• Ideally recently qualified/towards the end of AAT or Finance / Accounting Graduate
• Sound experience in an all-round accounts role and someone driven for a next step in their career in a role where they can develop over time
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work with limited supervision; to make decisions and use own initiative
• Ability to demonstrate strong IT skills including Excel
• Excellent listening skills
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and to manage a number of activities at any one time
