As our Assistant Bar Manager, you will be passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences and will take the lead in delivering an exceptional bar service. With a focus on raising the bar (literally!) in everything you do, you will ensure that every guest leaves with a lasting impression. You will maintain best-in-class standards, mastering and sharing your expert knowledge of our products with the team. You will play a vital role in training, coaching, and inspiring both the bar and front-of-house teams. In addition to supporting the Bar Manager with inventory and stock management, you will be a key player in driving operational excellence. We’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with a passion for delivering amazing experiences and continually striving for perfection. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Your role will include but may not be limited to the following responsibilities; Assist the Bar Manager in the smooth running of all aspects of the bar including service, stock management and staffing Supervise the bar team on a day to day basis to maintain coordinated effective communication and delivery between the bar, floor and kitchen. Monitor the quality of the product and service delivered. Assist the Bar Manager to control all aspects of stock management, including but not limited to; wastage, holding stock, perishable stock and consumables. Take initiative and demonstrate aptitude and desire to continue to further your career. Ensuring a safe environment for our team and our guests, ensuring we are always compliant in our licencing objectives Deputising for the Bar manager in their absence Duty management responsibilities including opening and closing the venue SKILLS, DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & ATTRIBUTES 3 years experience in a similar position desirable Fire Warden (not essential). First Aid (not essential). Personal License (not essential). People management skills Extensive cocktail experience Always looking for opportunities to improve your knowledge and abilities Passionate about hospitality and creating amazing experiences A keen eye for detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build lasting relationships with colleagues and clients Honest with strong moral principles Take initiative, can solve problems calmly and work well under pressure Please share any industry relevant qualifications, CPL or otherwise.
