We are now looking for a talented property professional to join our forward-thinking wider leadership team to help shape the future for Cherwell District Council.
You will bring a strong track record in maximising the effective use of property and assets that help shape and deliver our corporate ambitions. We truly believe that property is an enabling function and want to ensure that we harness our assets so that they best support and deliver for the council and our communities. We are also committed to becoming a zero-carbon council by 2030 and property has a major role to play in helping us to achieve this.
Reporting directly to our Corporate Director of Resources and operating as a key member of the council's extended leadership team you will have direct responsibility for the council's property services, which includes asset management, facilities management, and capital and special projects.
You will lead delivery of our town centre regeneration projects, including the next phases of Castle Quay, the provision of high-quality office accommodation and the deployment of assets into Canalside regeneration. You will also be the council's representative for One Public Estate, lead the delivery of our property carbon reduction programme and support partners and communities to do likewise.
