Job Description

A leading co-working company requires an experienced Assistant General Manager to join the leadership team for their flagship workspace to operate and shape the site experience, driving hospitality, building scalable operations and ensuring the overall success of the firm’s flexible workspace model.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Deliver a world class hospitality experience through developing and leading the front of house strategy and team.
  2. Train the wider team in hospitality standards and ensure they are delivered.
  3. Create structure for continued improvement of the product that delivers on the company experience expectations.
  4. Build structure to track, monitor and complete house facility issues in a timely manner and to budget.
  5. Oversee day-to-day operations of the site in partnership with the General Manager, ensuring seamless functionality and an inviting atmosphere.
  6. Work with the account manager on gathering feedback and strategically developing the product.
  7. Address member enquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and effectively.
  8. Support the General Manager in leading and inspiring a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional service across hospitality, operations, events, business development, account management and programming.
  9. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, ownership and member-centric focus.
  10. Take accountability for ensuring the site maintains a high standard of aesthetics, cleanliness, and functionality.
  11. Manage the needs of the space for both the site and the external events business lines.
  12. Establish partnerships and collaborations to strengthen the site network and product offering.

Skills and Experience

  1. Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality, co-working, or related industries.
  2. Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of leading teams through ambiguity.
  3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  4. Ability to adapt to a dynamic and evolving work environment.
  5. Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
