Assistant Headteacher - Primary Milk Education are recruiting for an Assistant Headteacher for the primary sight of an independent SEMH school located in Boston, Lincolnshire. This is a non-teaching, full-time role beginning as soon as possible! Join our mission to Make Life Kind in the classroom and beyond… Assistant Headteacher Role & Responsibilities: ● Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students ● Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs ● Develop and implement educational policies and programmes that promote the school's mission and values ● Ensure all safeguarding procedure and policies are adhered to ● Oversee the recruitment, training, and evaluation of teaching staff ● Monitor student progress and academic performance, implementing strategies to support student achievement ● Oversee CPD and induction for your team and be expected to lead whole staff and subject meetings. ● Other responsibilities will include pastoral care and behaviour management, curriculum forward planning, timetable construction, data analysis and development, assessment, recording and reporting. ● Foster positive relationships with students, parents, staff, and the wider community ● Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and educational standards Assistant Headteacher Non-negotiables: ● Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND. ● Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent and be aspiring to undertake the NPQH. ● Degree Qualified in Education or relevant subject. ● Must have a passion for education, with at least 5 years experience teaching ● Must possess good numeracy and literacy skills ● Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) ● Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others Why choose Milk?
