I am working with one of the UK's leading accountancy firms as they search for an Assistant Payroll Manager to join their busy team. Overseeing a large employee population in the UK; the payroll team for this business is at the center of their HR function - an integral part of the success of the organisation. With a strong manager to support, you as the Assistant Payroll Manager will be responsible for coaching and overseeing the team of Administrators to ensure an accurate payroll that runs like clockwork!


You will be responsible for the following;


  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including data entry, calculations, and distribution of payments.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation.
  • Impart experience and knowledge to the junior members of the team, identifying learning and development opportunities.
  • Generate reports and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Keep up to date on changes in payroll regulations and implement necessary adjustments.
