Who are we?
Vapiano is a growing Italian restaurant group currently with 5 restaurants and a plan to open a lot more over the next 5 years.
Our handmade fresh pasta is legendary and we’re proud of the quality of every meal we make. We are experts at using fresh ingredients and letting our guests customise their meal however they want - more chilli? No Problem! No Garlic? Sure thing! An Assistant Manager knows how to lead but also how to roll their sleeves up and muck in with the team. They will be commercial, aware of their inputs into the key pillars of a restaurant business, the ability to deliver 14 great shifts and exceed our guest expectations. They need to be a force of energy, but more important than anything is being your authentic self and being a decent kind human being who loves hospitality.
At Vapiano we believe everyone is equally important in giving our guests a great experience, we distribute our tips equally to everyone who worked on the shift whether you washed the dishes or managed the shift!
We will give you full training from cooking a perfect Carbonara to understanding the critical KPI's that you look after.

What are we looking for?
We are friendly, informal, passionate and caring so we look for people that are similar! We will give you 4 weeks of training but are looking for you to have emotional intelligence, business acumen, good communication skills, high self-awareness, active responsiveness, leadership experience, teamwork and the ability to get things done! Oh, and attitude of servitude!
We work in an environment where evenings and weekends are our busiest times so availability at those times essential. Oh and it helps if you really like pasta!
