Job Description

On the back of 2 outstanding years of growth Macmillan Davies are looking to further this by opening an office in Birmingham to complement our well-established offices in London and Manchester.

As the UK's longest established HR Recruitment Consultancy we're here to stay. It's now time to expand. To do this we need the right people. So, we're looking for a driven and talented Associate Director to lead and drive its success.
The role will allow you to have a huge say in how your business is run, where the office needs to be and how many days the person (and the team as it grows) needs to spend in the office. You'll play an essential role in the success of the company.

You'll steer the office on creating, developing, and implementing the resourcing strategy and plan to support and deliver objectives for you, your team and the business.

We need somebody who is happy to roll their sleeves up initially and generate revenue whilst growing the team over time which would relieve the billing pressure on this role as your career grows.

We offer a fun (and sometimes challenging!) working environment, a competitive salary and highly lucrative commission scheme. We have a range of benefits including, private health care, electrical car scheme and quarterly offsite (this year including stays at Alton Towers and a trip to Paris for the whole Company). Most importantly, we've created a culture where you're supported and encouraged to perform in an adult environment without all the unnecessary baggage that often goes with working for a larger, shareholder led recruiter. We're the opposite of that as we've all been there!

Key deliverables would centre on:
* Developing and implementing the new business sales strategies for the business (events, networking, exploiting existing relationships etc) with the support of the business and marketing team
* Meeting regularly with the business leadership team to put in place effective vision and strategy.
* Leading sales and marketing activities
* Building the sales pipeline and converting new key and SME clients
* Generating realistic revenue growth from new clients in line with expectation
* Candidate attraction and networking
* Recruitment and retention of staff (with the support of an Internal Recruitment team)

What are we looking for:
* Proven history of driving results in recruitment, preferably within the HR space, but not essential
* Ability to lead from the front with a hands-on approach
* Track record of success in a similar role isn't essential, but the attitude, ambition and tenacity to succeed is
* Commercially focussed, credible and capable of delivering results
* Someone who is like-minded and enjoys working autonomously, yet works within a highly supportive environment.

There's plenty of opportunity and earning potential is fantastic. If you're a down to earth individual with an ability to form long lasting relationships, do what you say you'll do and have a good laugh along the way then we want to talk to you.
