Our client, a growing manufacturing business and leader in their field, with a global presence, has an excellent opportunity for a qualified senior finance professional to join them as Associate Finance Director.

Your new role

Reporting to the Global Director of Finance, this role will suit a highly motivated finance professional driven to deliver results and a passion for developing people to extract their potential.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Key member of the leadership team collaborating with the senior management team across all functions influencing and supporting wider business decision-making.
  • All aspects of financial management for 1 UK and a further 2 European sites.
  • Oversee day to day financial operations, coordinate month-end activities with the local accounting and finance teams and take ownership for the monthly reporting.
  • Managing and developing a team of 4 staff.
  • Provide high quality reporting and analysis to be used both internally and externally.
  • Ensure robust Balance Sheet reconciliations are completed.
  • Develop systems, processes, and controls to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Represent Accounting & Finance at internal and external audit meetings.
  • Lead Statutory audits, grant discussions with local authorities and other external representatives as required.
  • SOX sign off for business units.
  • Partners with regional management, advising and developing processes to support the reporting needs of the organisation.
  • Coach and mentor staff to improve performance.
  • Complete ad-hoc analysis as requested by senior management.
