Description

In your new role as an Associate Director in our Origination Team, your primary responsibility will be to sell Demica’s transactional solutions offering to financial institutions & also to large corporations. Transactional solutions include reporting and calculation agent roles in structured receivable deals and generally the provision of technology and operational solutions to support complex deals that, for different reasons, cannot be supported by bank’s systems.

What you'll do

Business Development:
  • Ensure that all team members within the structured receivables teams in banks and NBFIs and consultancies under coverage are identified and mapped within Salesforce and that this updated on a quarterly basis with reference to LinkedIn and all available online resources.
  • Identify key decision makers and ensure quarterly update calls are scheduled alongside senior members of the origination, distribution and structuring teams on a quarterly basis.
  • Launch periodical campaigns together with Business Development team.
  • Attend Conferences to network with market practitioners and solicit leads.
Marketing:
  • Work in partnership with Platform Solutions Marketing to develop detailed annual transactional solutions sales & marketing plans in support of commercial objectives
  • Support creation of written and visual marketing content to support transactional solutions campaigns & solutions visibility on Demica.com
  • Support creation of a quarterly marketing newsletter that highlights the value of the platform, volumes processed, and structuring/ implementation tips designed to maximise success rates.
  • Support creation of video interviews with our bank and NBFI customers to share best practices across the industry.
Sales:
  • Develop and maintain customer collaterals to cover initial meetings through to an overview of how implementation and ongoing service works.
  • Issue proposals based on a mapping of customer requirements to our pricing and implementation rates.
  • Ensure all relevant transactional sales materials are kept updated in the Platform Solutions Confluence site.
  • Issue engagement letters and work with senior origination team to negotiate final transaction terms that can be handed over to implementation.
  • Work with senior origination team and structuring team members to negotiate final reporting agreement.
  • Monitor the implementation process and ensure a smooth customer experience handing escalations when they occur.

Who you are

  • 6+ years’ experience working in structured receivables finance transactions and trade receivables securitisation.
  • Financial understanding of Working Capital products across payables and/or receivables
  • Excellent communication with an ability to manage senior stakeholders, understand banks procurement drivers and establish buy in at all levels.
  • Willingness to work relatively autonomously in an intense and rapidly changing environment.
  • Evidence of working in a fast-paced, results-orientated environment
You will be a great fit for the role if, in addition to the above, you have experience in:
  • Experience working with high value software license or SaaS engagements within the Banking or Corporate Sector
  • Experience reviewing and negotiating contracts and other commercial agreements.
  • Technical understanding of the Demica NGP platform to be able to explain in detail how the platform delivers benefits to the customer.
  • Fluency in second language
