My clients are an independent transport and Infrastructure planning consultancy, they can offer an exciting working environment and a collaborative culture. Their talented team of transport planners and engineers work with high profile clients on a wide range of projects across the UK and overseas in both the private and public sector.

I am searching for an Associate Highways & Infrastructure Engineer to join this fantastic consultancy based in Central London.

You will be an integral member of the Infrastructure Engineering team, taking a lead on projects and will take on the role of being second in command to the team leader in running the team. You will be client facing in this role, managing the delivery of infrastructure design projects. You must be able to project manage and check design work of more junior engineers.

The successful candidate will be specialised in highways design for sites and developments (S278). Site access and layout design will be one of your key skills. Other strings to your bow will include round-a-bout, carpark and drainage design (drainage not essential). Experience in software such as Civil 3D and AutoCAD for design will be beneficial but you will not be undertaking much hand on design yourself, this will be delegated to more junior engineers.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a lovely firm with around 30 employees. You will be working on a wide variety of projects for blue chip clients as well as smaller companies. There are lots of opportunities for progression as well in addition to training and mentoring from the current Directors who are all hands on and present in the business.

In addition to a very competitive salary of circa £60k, you will be eligible for the following benefits:

• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

• Compressed working hours

• Hybrid (home / office) working

• Performance related bonus

• 6% contributory pension

• Medical and insurance

• Season ticket loan

• Cycle to work Scheme

• Maternity and Paternity benefits

• Individual personal development and training

• Sports and social club

• Away weekends / overseas study trip

• Assistance with chartership and professional membership

This is a truly unmissable opportunity for an up-and-coming Associate Highways & Infrastructure Engineer.
