Please read the information in this job post thoroughly to understand exactly what is expected of potential candidates.

You’re curious, dedicated, talented, and flexible. That’s why you’ll fit in.

As well as discovering, mining and processing many of the essential raw materials that enable, support and enhance modern life, our global business is involved in selling and marketing products – copper, platinum and other precious metals, iron ore, coal, nickel and diamonds. Through our Marketing Business, we are able to offer innovative solutions to meet our customers’ specific challenges. This includes physical products, logistics and technical support, as well as pricing and financing solutions. By offering freight services as well as actively managing the entire value chain, we ensure cost effective, reliable product supply and quality, when and where our customers need it. We have created new ways of working, devised more streamlined processes and procedures, and standardised information management systems.

To achieve this, we can count on a passionate group of people with a diverse blend of talents. They are at the heart of everything we do.

The Market Development team sits within the Anglo American Marketing Business. Our team members are architects of demand, curators of narrative and deal makers all at once. Our goal is to shape multiple businesses and the operating environment of those businesses simultaneously to create genuine, global excitement for the future of our metals. We wear many hats and must strategize & test opportunities, articulate how to pursue them, inspire others to take action, and execute, while also communicate and advocate for the areas within which those opportunities reside.

We need motivated and talented individuals in our marketing function – people who can anticipate market developments, proactively plan sales and marketing activities and make quick decisions. Are you one of them?
