In addition to running large, renowned projects, they are also called in as experts to consult on other projects due to their deep passion and knowledge around historic architecture, traditional building methods, conservation repair and heritage conservation.They work with some of the highest profile clients in the UK and as well as highly respected British Institutions.They are an incredibly forward-thinking practice, successfully operating a mostly remote working environment. They invest a lot in the training and development of their staff, not just professionally, but also from a staff well-being perspective.The OpportunityThis is a rare opportunity for someone who is passionate about conservation and heritage architecture to work on landmark projects, join a leader in the field and also getting a position in the leadership team; the medium-long term vision for this role, it to become a partner in the studio.This Associate Partner will work closely with the practice founder so there is the opportunity to learn from one of the most respected figures in conservation architecture sector.This role will also offer a hybrid / remote working environment. When you are not on site visits (typically projects are in the SE of England) you are free to work from home as much as you like. They have a small office in London which can be used, however, it is not a requirement.This could be a great opportunity for an experienced Project Architect or Senior Architect or Senior Surveyor to take a step into an Associate Partner role.The Requirements:A background in architecture (e.g as a Project Architect, Senior Architect, Associate, Senior Surveyor)Experience of working on historic buildings or conservation/heritage projects in the UKA passion for conservation architecture, historic buildings, conservation repair, traditional crafts etc.Conservation accredited (not essential, but beneficial)Client facing, job-running experience and site experienceInterested and able to step into a leadership role, with the passion to become a partner in the near futureFor this Associate Partner position, Candidates with notice periods up to 3 months will be considered.
