ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting into the Managing Director & Co-Founder, the Associate Research Director will take the lead on market research projects for a variety of clients, especially in the financial services space. This is a great route into the company leadership and will have the opportunity to work with trust and autonomy, but also collaboratively as part of a senior team.


Responsibilities include:

  • Leading research projects – setting up, designing, and delivering both qualitative and quantitative studies. From focus groups and in-depth interviews to questionnaires, surveys, and analysis.
  • Working on both ad hoc and continuous research projects for multiple accounts.
  • Presenting to clients, both pitching and debriefing.
  • The Associate Research Director will be working across multiple accounts, but will be primarily working with a key account in the financial services sector.
  • Client leadership – growing and cultivating pillar accounts.
  • Business development and growth – writing proposals, pitching, and winning new work.
  • Delivering fresh perspectives on policy decisions – how decisions effect clients and what the opportunities are.
  • Managing local third party relationships for international projects.



ABOUT YOUR BACKGROUND

  • Expertise in setting up and running both qual and quant market research projects, covering a broad range of methodologies such as surveys, focus groups, etc.
  • An understanding of both qualitative and quantitive research is key. This does not need to be a 50:50 split, but an understanding of both is necessary.
  • Experience in market research projects for clients in the financial services sector is a must.
  • Client leadership and business development skills, with a proven record of building key accounts.
  • Experience working on international projects is preferable.
  • At least 4-5 years' experience, preferably in an agency.
