Job Description

Our client,a well established and highly regarded, independent CA Firm seeks to recruit a suitably qualified, experienced Senior Audit Manager to join their Audit team.

This Firm has grown considerably in the last few years and looks to continue to build on this growth and success by recruiting a key individual ambitious to work towards Director/Partnership levels.

Clients are mainly medium sized, from varying sectors and as such require good client liaison skills.

Job Description

Oversee audit engagements to ensure they are conducted professionally and in accordance with the firm's standards

Develop and maintain relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service

Collaborate with team members to identify and manage risks

Conduct comprehensive reviews of audit work papers and financial statements

Prepare reports on audit findings and recommendations

Provide training and mentorship to junior audit staff

Participate in business development activities to help expand the firm's client base

Stay updated on industry developments and changes in regulations

The Successful Applicant

A successful Audit Senior Managerfor our client should have:

A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

Professional certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, )

Proven UK audit experience in an audit management role within a professional services firm

Excellent knowledge of auditing principles and practices

Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop staff

Exceptional customer service skills and a client-focused approach

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and desire to assist Partners with some ongoing business development
