Job Description
We are delighted to be partnering with a global eCommerce business based just outside the center of Leeds to find an Automation Test Manager to join a newly formed team that can lead on all things Automation Testing.
You will be joining the business at a really exciting time where change is ongoing to build the next evolution of the platform and this will require someone to come in a define, and implement frameworks, tools and process to create the best test automation function in the industry
This is a Hybrid role and requires 2 days per week in the Leeds office
What you will be doing
Building a leading class test automation framework
Ensures all outputs are free from defects and the best they possibly can be.
Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of business or technical support teams comprised of individual contributors. Sets priorities for the team to ensure task completion.
Provides technical guidance and expertise to team members, and serving as a point of escalation for the automation framework
Works with the SEIT team to grow and maintain the automation framework, standards, and procedures
What you have been doing
5+ years in a test role
2+ years in a test automation role
Proven experience in a test leadership role
Ideally experience managing an offshore team
Able to demonstrate having built a test automation framework from scratch
Experience performing automation at both a UI and integration layer
Experience in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Proven ability to use: Selenium, Junit, REST-assured, and Cypress
Competent in Java and Javascript
