As an automotive electrician, you will be responsible for the day to day delivery of high-quality installations of a variety of aftermarket products, on an extensive range of HGV vehicles.
You will represent AJT Installs and therefore its reputation so exemplary customer service standards will be a requirement.
Your main role will predominantly be carrying out installations of camera systems, DVS, reverse & turning warning alarms, work lamps, LED’s, beacons, trackers, immobilisers, alarms, parking sensors & alcolock
We are recruiting installation engineers in the Midlands and the North of England, but other locations could be considered for the right person. This role will be based at various sites around your area, but further travel will occasionally be required.
Requirements:
3 years’ experience of installing safety equipment on HGV’s
Working knowledge of laptop use
A full UK drivers’ licence
Problem solving skills
The ability to work alone and as part of a team
Good communication and customer care skills
Willingness to travel
Pay and Benefits:
Salary 35k annually. Realistic OTE 45k
Time and a half after 45 hours per week, paid from the minute you leave your door to the minute you arrive home
22 days holiday plus bank holidays, extra day holiday for every year of service up to a maximum of 8

As proud members of The AVI (Association of Vehicle installers) the successful candidate must be able to complete the relevant IMI course.
