Are you an Automotive Interiors Engineer with experience in Cost Competitiveness and Analysis, looking to join a leading Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer? Do you have a passion for future vehicle development?
If so, Expleo have an opportunity for you! One of the world’s largest automotive OEM's is currently recruiting for an Interiors Engineer, with knowledge within cost breakdown of components. Based in Bedfordshire, you will be working within a dedicated and enthusiastic team of Design and Development Engineers on a contract basis.
Responsibilities of the Automotive Interiors Engineer include:
• Lead Component development
• Analysis of technical and cost data
• Preparation of detailed cost reports
• New model cost management
• Generating cost reduction ideas
• Lifecycle cost management
• Competitor and internal benchmarking
Background and Experience required for the Automotive Interiors Engineer position:
• Ideally degree educated in a relevant design / engineering qualification
• Previous automotive development experience
• Cost breakdown analysis skills
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Competent in CAD interrogation
• Proficient in Microsoft office skills
You will hold a valid driving licence and have the capability to travel globally.
