Expleo are working with a major Automotive Manufacturer in the UK, who are looking to recruit an Automotive Steering System Engineer, to join their team on a contract basis. The role is based within a major Automotive Research and Development facility in Bedfordshire.

The Steering System Engineer will primarily be responsible for:
• Developing Steering systems at system / module level
• Managing suppliers
• Ensure regulation and safety performance are met
• Managing test validation, cost performance, part quality / reliability
• Simulation analysis on steering systems
• Competitor benchmarking
To be considered for the Automotive Steering System Engineer role, you will have the following experience and skills:
• Ideally Degree or HND qualified in a relevant discipline
• Experience within Steering System, Brake Modulation and Electric Booster development
• Ability to understand new technologies and systems
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes
• Ideally skilled in investigating and resolving software logic related concerns in an Automotive environment
You are required to hold a valid driving licence and must be willing to travel globally when required.
