This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals passionate about delivering high-quality audio experiences in a fast-paced environment.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Set up, operate, and dismantle audio equipment for live events, including concerts, conferences, and corporate functions.</li><li>Work closely with event coordinators, performers, and other technical staff to ensure flawless sound production.</li><li>Operate and manage mixing consoles (both analogue and digital) during events.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues promptly to maintain the integrity of live performances.</li><li>Maintain and repair audio equipment, ensuring all systems are in optimal working order.</li><li>Collaborate with lighting and video teams to integrate sound with other event production elements.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications and Skills:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience as an AV Event Technician in live and/or corporate event settings.</li><li>Proficiency with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs) such as Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or Ableton Live.</li><li>Familiarity with live sound software such as Q-SYS Designer, Smaart, or Dante Controller.</li><li>Strong understanding of sound system setup, including PA systems, monitors, and line arrays.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under pressure.</li><li>Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.</li><li>A proactive approach to maintaining high standards of audio quality.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and irregular hours based on event schedules.</li><li>A valid drivers license is preferred.</li></ul>
