Our busy veterinary hospital in Saffron Walden is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and dedicated registered veterinary nurse to lead the team as Head Nurse for maternity cover. You will be supported by a Practice Manager, a Deputy Head Nurse, and a Senior Nurse at each branch to help ensure smooth running day to day. Although the role is to lead and manage the team, you will be expected to fully participate on the nursing rota and be involved in providing excellent patient care.
Rotational shifts to maximise work life balance
This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week covering shifts between the hours of 7.30am - 8.30pm on a rota basis. You may also be required to cover some out of hours shifts. This role is offered on a 6 months fixed term contract however there is the possibility of it being extended

The hospital offers a great working space which has a brand-new separate dog and cat ward and also consists of an in-house laboratory, modern theatre, and x-ray with ample off-road parking. We are close to all amenities and a short walk from town and transport links with beautiful countryside right on our doorstep.
