The Role
Galemire Vets are looking to recruit a dedicated registered veterinary nurse to join our team. Duties include daily monitoring anaesthetics, schedule-3 procedures, nurse consults and general day-to-day practice.
We are dedicated to ensuring our staff have an excellent work/life balance. Therefore this is a completely flexible position, the full-time rota is usually 40 hours per week over 5 days plus 1:5 weekends on call and one night a week on call. Part-time hours can be discussed further at the interview stage.
The salary for this role is up to £29,000 FTE depending on experience.

Here at Galemire Vets, we have a great opportunity for a registered veterinary nurse to join our amazing team. We are a friendly and approachable team with plenty of time to welcome new staff members.
The practice has been a vital member of the local community since 1966. Based on the west coast of the county, you're never far from some scenic locations such as West Lakeland Fells and the Solway Coast. We are only 5 minute drive away from the lovely harbour town of Whitehaven, with good public transport links.
About the Team and Culture
At Galemire we have 5 vets, 5 registered veterinary nurses, and 2 Animal Care Assistants. Together with a wonderful support team, including Practice Manager, Assistant Manager, Accounts Manager, Admin Assistant and Reception Team. We are a friendly and approachable team. We all take pride in welcoming every new member into our team, often meeting up outside of work for dog walks, horse riding, meals out or a night on the town.

Registered on the RCVS to work as a Veterinary Nurse, you will be a dynamic nurse who is dedicated to providing the very best care to both pets and clients.
