PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The Website Editor will play a key role across both the website and wider acquisition teams in creating high performing end-to-end customer journeys and ensuring consistency in design, content and UX across the ii website.
Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBLITIES:
Brief and build high performing landing pages across the digital landscape to acquire new customers, supporting paid and organic campaigns
Develop engaging and compelling website copy and design
Re-purpose existing pages to improve clarity and drive more conversions
Work with Acquisition Managers to improve conversion performance on key pages
Work closely with SEO Manager to build new content and improve existing content to improve rankings
Ensure robust processes are in place for on-going site improvements and management
Work with the wider acquisition team to review acquisition journeys, and analyse performance of said journeys using digital analytic tools such as Google Analytics and Hotjar
Brief creative and content teams to support digital activities with fresh assets
Manage content on the public site, implementing updates and amends via the content management system
Liaise with stakeholders to understand and plan content requirements
Ensure all site content meets compliance requirements
Maintain the first line of Risk/Compliance defence by ensuring individual adherence to business processes and procedures that are designed to meet the regulatory standards set out in the relevant FCA rules and guidance.
Make informed risk decisions and effectively and credibly debate and challenge management recommendations within your role in line with the approved Risk Management Framework.
Maintain the first line of defence by reviewing/supporting the risks and controls assigned to the department.
Promote change through Root Cause Analyse from Risk events completed.
Experience in using CMS (Drupal preferred but not essential)
Ability to create website copy and content to a high standard
Understanding of SEO and CRO best practices
Experience of building and optimising landing pages for paid and organic campaigns
Understanding of web analytics and how it relates to content performance and user journeys
Profound knowledge of related tools and technologies (Google Analytics, Optimize, Hotjar etc.)
Understanding of web user experience principles
Strong project management skills
