Azure & GCP Cloud Solutions Architect required by my Financial Services client to join their UK team. This is a permanent role with hubs based in various locations, and flexible home working, with a competitive salary + bonus, pension, and benefits
In this role, you'll demonstrate sound Cloud Solution Architect skills and combine technical thought with leadership skills to help drive strategy and adoption of a variety of cloud-based solutions
Key Skills and Requirements:
- Working hands-on with the Engineers and Product owners including the direct relationship with Enterprise Architecture
- Designing reusable patterns and blueprints to enable Cloud Platform scaling policy, currency management, portability, data resilience strategies
- Designing and architect the Cloud products alongside the engineering teams to remain within the governed architecture
- Engaging with senior business leaders to understand long-term strategic challenges.
- Advising to build Cloud products and services that support the business need
- Providing integrated long-term solutions and strategies for a significant area of responsibility, e.g. a function to support the execution of business strategy.
- Effective risk management and control with timely identification and management of issues
- Experience with Cloud Service Provider technologies e.g. Azure, GCP, AWS, Public Cloud security tools & technologies
- Cloud-Native principles & supporting technologies e.g. Microservices, DevOps, Containers & CI/CD desirable
