Position: B2 Licensed Engineer
Pay rate: upto £70 p/h inside IR35.
location: Shawbury - RAF Base
Role Type: 12 Month contract with extension

IO Associates seeks a B2 Licensed Engineer for the Shawbury site. Join a global aerospace leader specializing in commercial and military aircraft, helicopters, defense, and space sectors. Responsibilities
- Provide engineering support to Flight Operations.
- Perform maintenance inspections and repairs under LAE Supervisor guidance.
- Lead teams to ensure safe aircraft operations.
- Maintain avionic and electrical systems, including LRU replacements and testing.
- Supervise fitters and certify their work.
- Conduct off-aircraft technical tasks in the avionics workshop.
- Assist with hangar management, aircraft movement, and housekeeping.
Skills
- In-depth knowledge of helicopter avionic and electrical systems is required.
- Familiarity with specialized test equipment for avionic and electrical systems is essential.
- Must be up to date with:
- CAA regulations, particularly Part 145 and Part M (Continued Airworthiness Management).
- Flight and airport operations.
- Aircraft line maintenance procedures.
