WHAT IS YOUR ROLE?
As the B2B Marketing Executive, using a variety of marketing techniques you will be responsible for introducing Smile Education as the number one Managed Service Provider (MSP) choice for Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs).

This is more of a back-office marketing position, focusing on lead generation, specifically C-Suite fact finding and engaging with C-Suite level staff to organise meetings and pitches for our directors, getting the brand/Smile name out to the relevant people.

You will be working closely with the Board, Marketing Manager, and MSP Partnership Delivery team, and this role offers you the opportunity for hybrid working.

WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?

Strategy and planning:

  • Develop and maintain marketing strategies to meet agreed company objectives.
  • Evaluate, report and feedback on all relevant data and results in a timely way, suggesting any improvements.
  • Minimise and manage marketing costs and ensure marketing spend and investments deliver a ROI.

Website and social media:

  • Effective lead generation.
  • Maintain and optimise the Smile MSP website including content creation of blogs etc.
  • Create conversation on social media regarding MSP and other issues affecting MATs.

Business Development:

  • Identify key C-Suite contacts at MATs within our target geographical area.
  • Use client lists provided by CPC and CCS to target trusts.
  • Log actions and information on the CRM system.
  • Utilise a variety of marketing activities to secure meetings such as LinkedIn messages, email, and post.
  • Conduct thorough research on prospects and assist in tailoring sales pitches to customer needs.
  • Create successful sales email campaigns.
  • Research and suggest events for Directors to attend.
  • Manage all aspects of print production, receipt, and distribution ensuring it is aligned to the brand.

ARE YOU IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE?

  • B2B Marketing experience – proven track record of winning clients in a B2B environment.
  • Website and SEO – ability to update websites and optimise for SEO. Reporting using Google Analytics.
  • Design skills – knowledge of Canva and Adobe.
  • Social media – Proven track record of creating sales from social media using organic and paid techniques.
  • Lead Generation – Proven track record in developing leads using a variety of techniques.
  • Communication – Strong verbal and written communicator with experience building genuine rapport.
  • Team Player & Influencer – High levels of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, adaptable to different personalities and ways of working.
  • Self-motivated – Proactive with the ability to manage own schedule and work independently, being accountable for results.
  • Detail oriented – Logical, methodical, and structured.
  • Reactive problem solver & solutions focused – Innovative thinker with the ability to solve problems professionally and quickly.
  • IT Literate – Comfortable with MS Office and utilising a CRM system.
  • Value driven – Resonate with the core values of the business: Teamwork, Quality, and Commitment.
  • Reliable – Stable work history, able to explain reasons for leaving previous positions.
