Role Overview:
In this dynamic role, you'll contribute to both existing and new projects, with a primary focus on our e-commerce store. Responsibilities include crafting and integrating supporting APIs to enhance various functionalities across the site.
Key Qualifications:
- Framework experience
- Proficient in plain OOP PHP
- Understanding of design patterns and principles
- Demonstrated practical application skills with awareness of limitations and trade-offs
- Crucial knowledge of relational database design, software implications, and MySQL proficiency
- Ownership and responsibility for task completion
- Maintenance and development of websites and web services with diverse technologies
- Collaborative work within a dynamic, creative team
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a development-oriented role
- Excellent knowledge of PHP
- Strong understanding of relational databases (MySQL)
- Proficiency in Version Control (git)
- Experience with database ORMs (Propel/Doctrine/Eloquent)
- Expertise in building APIs, working with JSON and JSON Schema
- Familiarity with software design patterns and principles
- Working knowledge of JavaScript (Vanilla)
- Exposure to modern JS frameworks (Vue.js, Angular, or React)
- Proficiency in modern IDEs and development practices
- Some experience with Linux/Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
- Familiarity with unit testing (PHPUnit)
