Band 4 Biomedical Science – Locum Associate Practitioner – Histology – CornwallPosition: Biomedical Science – HistologyBanding: 4Location: CornwallHours: 08:30 am – 17:00 pmDuration: September 2024 – January 2025Rate: £18.00 – £22.00 per hourThe Biomedical Science team at Pulse is currently recruiting a Band 4 Biomedical Scientist in Histology to work in a busy hospital in Cornwall. We are looking for a biomedical scientist who can make a real difference in supporting the laboratory’s cellular histology service.What will you be doing in this Biomedical Scientist role?As a Biomedical Scientist in Histology, you will be expected to be proficient in microtomy, able to cut over 35 to 40 blocks an hour to a high standard, alongside having experience in embedding and staining.
