We’re on a mission to change the future for children, families, and the people we work with, and are committed to progressive working values like flexibility, work-life balance, and wellbeing.What you’ll be doingSupport Nursery colleagues with their delivery of the EYFS, by engaging children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestonesSupervise the children throughout the day, ensuring their safetyWork as part of a larger team, to ensure all essential day-to-day tasks are completed in line with nursery demands i.e. hygiene standards and room preparationPromote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all timesWork with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment on a day-to-day basisWhat we’re looking forPrevious experience working with children (Nursery Bank Staff, Nursery Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Nanny, Childminder or similar)Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each childAbility to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adultsSound understanding of child protection and the safeguarding of childrenAbility to be flexible and adaptable – embracing working cultures in different nurseriesHave a flexible approach to working hours, supporting nurseries within a pre-agreed radius of your home addressWe look forward to receiving your application!
