Our services will include gastroscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, and haemorrhoidal banding.Are you an Endoscopy Practitioner who wants to take control of your own rota with flexibility to work the shifts that suit you?We are looking for flexible Endoscopy Practitioners to join our bank, as we continue to expand throughout the UK!About the RoleThe role will be to teamwork under the coordination of the Endoscopy Nurse in Charge and provide the best possible experience for patients.You will participate in the entire pathway for patients from pre-admission to procedure, then recovery and discharge. EPs contribute to the safe and effective working of their Unit and support CQC and JAG GRS activities and accreditation.We are looking for someone who can:Complete clinical tasks depending upon supervising and contributing to training in othersCan carry out site intravenous access when admitting patients requesting sedation, when competentContribute to the team’s tasks to ensure that the endoscopy list flows smoothly and efficiently and according to CHEC Endoscopy SOP and other PoliciesPrepare clinical areas for clinical activities dailyParticipate in CQC and JAG accreditation and continuing competency training requirements through the JETs frameworkHave a passion for patient care: compassionate nurses with an appreciation of patient’s care-needs, first class communication skillsAttention to detail and an eagerness and ability to learnGood listening abilities and logical thought processesGood team-workingTo be successful in this role you will need: Registered practitioner with the NMC or HCPCAt least 1-year previous experience as registered practitioner or equivalent in Endoscopy serviceExperience with JAG accreditationPassion for high quality patient safety and careEducated to degree level or equivalent level of experienceAbout CHEC Community Health and Eyecare are an independent service provider that specialise in Ophthalmology and Endoscopy services supporting the NHS.
