This leading City based bank are looking to strengthen their busy Systems Support team. Degree educated in computer science or similar, or proven work experience within IT service delivery/release/Test management gained within the financial sector, duties will include:- To develop a comprehensive understanding of the banks core Lending system and other key applications, and how these are used by each team within the business. Liaise between end users and IT to ensure queries and issues are addressed promptly. Attend bi-weekly calls with business representatives, App support and external vendor of the core Lending system to discuss progress on outstanding tickets related to that system and note down recurring and significant issues of discussion at quarterly service reviews. Support core Lending system releases and all associated testing. Compile and present content at the Data & systems committee to keep attendees up to date on key systems related topics, progress with releases and record and track any actions arising at those meetings that concern Systems or Technology in general. Act as the initial point of contact within the business for any queries related to Systems and technology and provide support to how to raise IT support requests through Group IT Support. It is essential candidates possesstrong IT support experience, the ability to communicate clearly between technical teams and non-technical end users, as well as speaking confidently face to face with multiple stakeholders. Strong Microsoft Office skills are required particularly PowerPoint. Ref DMB
