Our client is looking to offer the opportunity for an experienced Solicitor to join their Banking and Finance team in Cardiff.

The successful candidate will have access to excellent training, both within the team and also as part of their structured in-house programmes. The role will also provide access to a portfolio of high quality and rewarding financial transaction work, with exposure to a range of clients and the opportunity to develop a strong network of client relationships.
The team comprises of specialist lawyers who are able to resource transactions from the simplest to the most complex, operating across a range of disciplines including corporate and transactional banking, management buy-ins and buy-outs, trade finance, asset finance, and more. The Cardiff team specifically advises on major aspects of domestic and international banking, acting for a wide variety of lenders including, mezzanine and institutional funders, investment and merchant banks, and clearing banks. In addition to this, the team also acts for borrowers, including housing association, colleges, universities, and private/public companies.
To be considered for this role, you will have between 2-4 years’ PQE with high calibre banking and finance experience gained from a national or regional law firm. You will be committed to both a career in banking and finance, and also to developing a network and career in the Cardiff area. Having a confident and personable attitude is important, as well as strong technical competence and intellectual ability. It is also essential that you exhibit good communication skills and commercial awareness.
