About the role
Responsible for the efficient running of bars across our Bars department in our entertainment venues and buffets restaurants, you’ll ensure that the highest standard of service is met consistently, ensuring that we delight our guests and receive positive feedback.Leading a team to not only deliver the best service to our customers but to make sure the team are always engaged and carrying out best practice, you will support with leading shifts to ensure the venues are ready to deliver a quick service using our bars or B-Serve systems. Role-model behaviour by leading the way as a visible presence in the venue, delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests and lead and develop the team with support of the venue management team by holding coffee chats and PDP’s, along with performance management meetings. You will demonstrate effective communication and take steps to ensure your team are up to date with relevant information alongwith maintaining high levels of hygiene and cleanliness within the team and the venue. You will ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health and Safety policies and legislation with the support of the venue management team, have the ability to analyse KPI’s to control liquor costs and labour and be able to follow and implement stock control systems to maximise gross profit margin.This role covers a 40 hours over a 5-days week over 7 days, so flexibility is very important. Successful candidates will need to be available to join us on Tuesday 14th May 2024.
You will also oversee all team activities within the department including recruitment, performance, and team development. You should be a real advocate for your team’s fulfilment at work, ensuring that you are having regular 121's and PDP discussions to support their development and career with Butlin’s.
As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
About You
We are looking for an experienced bar or food & beverage leader that can support the team to deliver fantastic service, putting the guests first in everything you do. You will have experience in training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellence experience.
You should have previous experience in a busy volume driven restaurant or bar environment where a balance of speed and quality is important.
You should be confident to direct and respond in any situation whilst delivering consistent brand standards. You have an eye for detail and the ability to deliver consistent brand standards
The ability to lead, motivate and engage your team, even at periods of high demand is important, as well as being able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
With strong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests every day.
