As a Barclays Project Manager you will manage risk effectively, deliver on our Group strategy and satisfy all our stakeholders. It will be down to you to ensure we deliver our initiatives consistently and transparently. You will apply the right processes, tools, methods and skills to manage the delivery of projects from business case through to closure.

- Ensuring that planned outputs deliver the agreed outcomes and that the outcomes remain relevant, correcting to ensure the programme delivers on its aims where required
- Providing and regularly reviewing an honest, transparent assessment of the project status and RAID (risks, assumptions, issues and dependencies) of the initiative
- Understanding, explaining and presenting complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, across multiple business units, in a persuasive and convincing manner
- Understanding the dependencies between various component teams and identifying and mobilising the resource structure needed for delivery.
- The ability to understand our internal and external customers, their feedback and needs
- Experience in the successful delivery of medium to large, transformational technology-enabled programmes
- An understanding of a matrix management environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage upwards and downwards
