We have an exciting opportunity for a Behavioural Science Intern to join our R&D team for a six-week period during the summer break.


The role


As Behavioural Science Intern, you will work as a key member of the digital team, and closely with Commercial and Clinical teams, identifying opportunities to support effective decision making by patients and clinicians using data.


You will employ latest best practice behavioural science frameworks in the proposals.


Key duties:


  • Using modern behavioural science techniques to understand how health care professions react to data presented.
  • Designing strategies to test these hypothetical responses with representative users.
  • Proposing improvements on the way data and screens are presented to encourage engagement and comprehension of the insights available.
  • Developing and supporting tools used in testing, engineering, and servicing scenarios.
  • Writing documents and reports to provide insights and information to key stakeholders.
  • Applying appropriate controls on the access and use of data to adhere to GDPR and other patient data protection requirements.

What are we looking for?

Key skills


  • Degree in Behavioural Science or equivalent
  • Knowledge of behavioural science data approach
  • Understanding typical approaches to stakeholder needs elicitation (written & diagrammatic requirements, prioritisation and estimation methods, process mapping)
  • Familiarity with Experience Design concepts and understanding of how insight products (reports, recommendations, algorithms) fit into real world systems
  • Experience and interest in analysing human performance data e.g. biological, anatomical, physiological, dietary, neurological, etc.
