Job Description
A world-renowned practice known for pushing the boundaries of BIM technology and high-tech design, is currently hiring a full-time, permanent BIM Coordinator.
This role will involve supporting architectural project teams in the use of BIM tools and workflows across multiple exciting projects. Individuals with experience and enthusiasm for sophisticated modelling techniques and information management processes, as well as those with large-scale project experience across various sectors. This opportunity is based in our London office.
Experience-skills-attributes:
- Architectural background ideal
- Large project BIM coordination using Autodesk Revit
- Project information management in line with ISO19650 and the UK BIM Framework
- Good written and verbal communication
- Self-confidence and persistence
- Comfortable working with multiple teams on multiple projects, a team-player, and yet capable of working independently
- Willingness to assist teams both with simple problems or more advanced inquiries and needs
- Able to manage sensitive/confidential information
Responsibilities
- Contribute to project BIM strategy and coordination meetings with external stakeholders
- Organise and lead internal BIM collaboration meetings
- Support project teams
- Ensure compliance with the BIM execution plans and digital production standards
- Support project modelling, model management and troubleshoot software related issues.
- Perform clash detection and produce reports
- Monitor and review BIM deliverables
- Perform Model maintenance assist in ongoing development of BIM infrastructure
