Biology TeacherLocation: East of England, Cambridgeshire, CambridgeJob Type: Permanent, Full-TimePrimary Industry: Education and TrainingSalary: £150 - £180 Per dayJob Duties:The Biology Teacher is responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging and effective biology lessons to students. They must create a positive learning environment, assess student progress, and provide feedback to support their development. The teacher will also participate in parent-teacher meetings and collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall learning experience.Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)Degree in Biology or related fieldExperience teaching biology at the secondary levelStrong knowledge of the national curriculum guidelines for biologyEducation:A degree in Biology or a related fieldExperience:Previous experience teaching biology at the secondary levelKnowledge and Skills: Deep understanding of biology conceptsEffective classroom management skillsAbility to inspire and motivate studentsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsPreferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in EducationExperience working with diverse student populationsWorking Conditions:The Biology Teacher will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar. They may need to work additional hours for lesson planning and grading outside of regular school hours.
