About the Role

As the Branch Director, you will be the senior leader at the branch level, with overall accountability for all aspects of branch operations. Your key responsibilities will include managing the local P&L, driving growth through improved retention, cross-sales, and new client acquisitions. You will set performance and behaviour standards, acting as a role model and leading the branch team to ensure they have the knowledge, skills, and resources to achieve sales targets.

The primary focus of your role will be to provide strong, effective leadership, drive the implementation of regional strategies, and oversee branch trading to meet budgetary goals. You will continually review market conditions to identify new opportunities, assess performance against competitors, and maintain key internal relationships within the organisation.


You can be based anywhere in the region, provided you are within a reasonable distance from one of their General Insurance locations.


  • What We Are Looking ForA proven leader with a strong track record of delivering sales growth and achieving revenue targets within a regulatory general insurance framework.
  • Extensive experience in insurance management, with deep knowledge of placement and insurer relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in driving both top and bottom-line performance and growth.
  • Expertise in managing client relationships and improving business performance within a regulated environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen, financial awareness, and understanding of market dynamics.
  • Significant experience in managing P&L budgets and understanding business processes and performance drivers.
  • Ability to innovate and drive new ideas.
