The wineries we represent are like us – progressive and fiercely independent and we sell their delicious wines to our ever growing customer base which includes both the on and off trade.

The Role
Working within the Marketing Team based in London this unique position’s prime objectives are to improve brand advocacy and reputation in the UK trade, win incremental distribution and / or initiate creative stimulus that increases rate of sales.
This unique role offers a real and practical chance to utilise your ambassadorial status and sales disciplines to a portfolio of premium Italian brands while implementing winning strategies in the UK, and providing compelling and commercially rational solutions that ‘close the deal’.
You will spend time in the trade to grasp the intricacies of the varying brands’ life cycles and to become the recognised face of them within the U.K On-Trade. To succeed in this role will involve demonstrating intimate brand knowledge, trade kudos and a persuasive ability to convince others of the commercial and consumer benefits of working with your brands.
The appointed candidate will work in close liaison with the Brand Team and Sales Team to bring the brand vision and common purpose to life within trade and will display diplomacy to win over existing or prospect customers.
It is essential that the successful applicant is fluent in Italian, has an in depth understanding of the wine market, has the ability to apply sales knowledge to recognise buying signals and close profitable deals with buyers, as well as having the confidence to host dinners and be the centre of attention. You will have experience working with luxury brands and hold a WSET Level 2 or above.
There may also be opportunities to visit vineyards and wineries, therefore you will need a valid passport and driving licence so that you are able to join us on these exciting trips!
Working Pattern:
This role is 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday and whilst the core hours are 09:00 to 17:30, there will be some evening or weekend work required.
We are currently operating a hybrid working policy and therefore when you are not in trade you will need to work from the London office three days a week and the remaining time can be spent working from home.
