David Harber Ltd are multi-award-winning, internationally renowned designers of luxurious, hand-crafted sculptures, whose works have graced some of the world’s most prestigious addresses – from British institutions such as Windsor Castle and Eton to destinations further afield in Asia, Australia, Europe and the USA.
Every sculpture, sundial or water feature is crafted by hand on site in rural Oxfordshire. As a family-owned business, we are a small but established team, where every individual plays their part to bring David’s creations to life and offer the very best service to its highly affluent audience of private customers, interior and garden designers, art consultants and property developers.

A highlight of David’s career was having three of his pieces unveiled by Her Majesty The Queen, and one by HRH Prince Charles.

Your Remit:

We are looking for an accomplished brand figurehead, who, working in close collaboration with the Sales Team Manager, will take responsibility for driving the company’s business and increasing its revenue, identifying and developing new business opportunities and building and expanding the presence of the company and its brand. Your focus accountabilities include:

// Marketing

To lead the marketing team to deliver a marketing and communications plan to deliver on business objectives. To harness the potential of digital marketing in the UK and the US to generate high quality leads.

To identify and select opportunities for participation in events, exhibitions, and collaborations with third parties in the UK and the US.

To work in close collaboration with the UK based Sales Team who will be converting leads. You will be responsible for leading the company to the next level of growth; the greatest potential for growth has been identified as B2B relationship building amongst high end garden designers, interior designers, architects and landscape architects as well the luxury design sector in the UK and internationally. In addition, you will be managing a dedicated agent situated in the USA.

// New Product Development /Brand

To manage the creative team and ensure that the David Harber brand retains its identity and vitality. To expand and invigorate the design portfolio, by creating a minimum of 3 new classic designs a year.

Reporting to the Managing Director and a key part of the Senior Management Team, this role will have Marketing team and US Business Development Manager reporting to them.

About You:

This role requires a creative marketeer and consummate networker who can build relationships in the luxury design sector, within high end garden design and/or the world of interiors.

Existing connections in this sector would be a great advantage.

Your key role externally will be to represent the David Harber brand with flair, imagination, and charisma. You will need to enjoy the prospect of building long term relationships.

In developing relationships with prospects, the role demands an ability to talk about design with the client, so a genuine interest and an eye for design is an essential requirement.

David Harber Ltd are a family owned, sociable company based in a rural location a short distance from Didcot and its rail links. Benefits include: 22 days holiday rising to 28 days, private healthcare, 4% employee and 4% employer pension scheme and a generous discretionary annual bonus.
This is a full-time position, working initially a minimum of 8 days per month at our premises.
