Senior Broker Technician - North American Property
£50,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Benefits

Our Client, is a reputable, well-established and international Lloyd's Broker, with a strong reputation within the London Market. With offices across the globe, you will be based in their Head Office, near to the Lloyd's of London building. Your new company has a solid reputation, for providing innovative insurance and reinsurance solutions to their valued Clients/Retail Brokers and pride themselves on delivering an exceptional level of service.
Your new company now has a brand new and exciting position within their North American Property & Casualty Division, in an exciting and Front-End Technical role, where you will be working closely with Brokers to ensure the effective placement of risks.
The Role
- Responsible for working collaboratively with Brokers, Underwriters and Client’s
- Production of client and market documentation inclusive of MRC Slips and Endorsements etc
- Liaising with other internal teams to ensure all work is carried out in line with company policies and procedures
- Working closely with the Brokers to assist in the review of renewals and supporting the process
- Keeping all relevant in-house systems and worksheets up to date in a timely and accurate manner
- Preparing, attending and contributing to internal meetings
- Assisting and providing colleagues with coaching and support
About you
- 4 + years experience within a Broker Support/Back-Up position for a Lloyd’s Broker
- Experienced in creating MRC Slips and Endorsements
- Experienced in North American or International Property Risks
- Ability to pay acute attention to detail
- Extensive technical knowledge in placement and coverage
- First class communication and interpersonal skills
- Methodical approach and team player
