Build and Release Engineer - Remote Fantastic opportunity for a Talented Remote Build and Release engineer with a passion for games to join a Ground breaking and cutting edge studio and to be part of a highly skilled and driven team creating Simulation Games in an Unreal environment. You will be working with Unique real world simulation gaming to produce the highest quality gaming platforms. We require a Build Release Engineer to take responsibility of the creation and build of our first party projects. We expect you to be experienced in QA processes and release delivery across multiple platforms You will be Responsible for the creation and delivery of build releases for the studios first party projects. Tracking and integration of development changes across source control projects as required, per-release. Building and distribution of release binaries to review audiences. Creation and distribution of supporting release notes per build release. Processing of bug tracker defect reports resolved per build release. Archiving of critical-release build binaries to support external distribution. Design, development and maintenance of automated continuous integration build-and-validation systems . Keeping first party project builds operational, with a zero-downtime mindset, and supporting the development teams in resolving issues reported by the build validation systems. Environment design and maintenance of project build servers. Integration and upkeep of bespoke platform build pipeline tools as new platforms arrive to our development teams. Research and development toward reducing build turnaround time. Maintaining studio knowledge of new technologies and industry practices that can improve our build release pipelines. Required Experience in C++, C# and Python languages. Perforce source control at user and developer level. Developing automated build and deployment systems and release validation frameworks. Experience with the quality assurance processes and release delivery requirements in a hybrid-model game development environment. Working with large codebases across multiple platforms. Strong communication and collaboration skills. A passion for gaming and a desire to always be the best you can be. Preferred Degree in Computer Science or a similar subject. Experience with developing Unreal Engine game titles (UE4.26/UE5.x)) and the UE UAT build system. Use of JIRA bug tracking software at user and developer level. Experience with Steam, PS4, GDK, PS5, Epic and Switch game development SDKS and build tools. Developing web services. SQL development. Familiarity with agile principles.
