Our client is looking for a build engineer who would be responsible for conducting a range of activities associated with centralising End-User computing device administration and support. This is a hands-on role, which is based in Glasgow, however, may require some occasional travel to other company sites & 3rd party locations around Scotland.
Key Responsibilities
Provide 1st line support for IT equipment in the support centre.
Be the first point of contact between the organisation and 3rd party couriers.
Be on top of stock related activities including fulfilling new swap stock orders and ensuring pick-ups and shipments are dealt with and managed in a timely manner.
Looking for someone who:
Has knowledge and experience of building and configuring laptops.
Has skills in service desk support.
Has excellent organisation skills and the ability to proactively keep on top of a variety of tasks at once.
Is able to provide consistently clear communication and build positive relationships with suppliers.
Has a driver's license (essential).
