Building Conditions Surveyor (Assets & Building Fabric) – Home based – Nationwide travel – up to £55,000
*MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR SECURITY CLEARANCE*
Are you a seasoned professional in building surveying with a passion for real estate services?
Are you ready to step into a leading organisation as a Conditions Surveyor.
You will play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and functionality of commercial buildings across the UK.
Essential:
- Knowledge of building surveying in commercial buildings
- City & Guilds certification in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Eligible for Enhanced DBS clearance, CTC, and SC clearances
- Proven track record of extensive asset surveys and conditioning
- Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations
- Experience with mobile data capture and reporting tools
- Proficiency in iPad apps/systems and Microsoft Office
- Full clean driving license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with an eye for accuracy
Desirable:
- Membership of a professional body (e.g., MRICS, MCIOB, IWFM)
- Experience in asset lifecycle planning and secure environments
- Familiarity with Kykloud software (training provided)
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
- Conduct condition surveys on Mechanical & Electrical equipment and Building Fabric in various government sector properties
- Maintain accurate records of all site visits and survey schedules
- Manage building plans/drawings and update as necessary
- Input data on Kykloud software using a mobile device (iPad)
- Provide recommendations to clients for asset renewal and replacement
- Attend project meetings and collaborate with internal teams
- Update systems with accurate data to produce concise reports
- Perform ad-hoc duties as required
