Job Description
A relaxed but collaborative construction consultancy is seeking a Building Control Surveyor and/or Registered Building Inspector (RBI) to provide consultancy under the BSA 2022. This role will be flexible, requiring you to work from a prestigious London location once a week. Despite the flexible nature, the team is very sociable, and they have exceptional staff retention rates.
This consultancy mainly has projects within core sectors, including several prestigious contracts, and offers a great opportunity for career progression to Senior Consultant/Associate Director.
Principal Designer (BSA 2022) Responsibilities
Responsibilities include site inspections over a varied portfolio, providing an exciting experience as each week and month will be different. You will confidently participate in design meetings with clients, providing design compliance consultancy under BSA 2022, ensuring designs comply with building control legislation.
Principal Designer (BSA 2022) should possess
- A Class 2 Registered Building Inspector (RBI) or 2 years of experience as a Building Control Surveyor
- A member of a professional body: CABE/MICE/RIBA
- A degree in a technical building qualification: Engineering/Civil Engineering/Architecture (preferable)
