Our client is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Manager to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance and administration of this newly completed office building located in Bristol. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong background in facilities / building management, exceptional leadership ability and a commitment to provide a safe, comfortable and productive environment for tenants and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitating the smooth management of the building
- Create a community culture
- Participating in meetings with contractors, service providers and tenants
- Procurement and instruction of planned and reactive maintenance
- Engage with clients and build relationships while reporting any issues or accidents
- Use CAFM systems
- Monitor contract performance to required standards
- Schedule H&S audits
- Work with sustainability improvements and measures to deliver a positive impact
Qualification and Requirements
- 3 - 4 years’ experience in a similar role
- Confident knowledge of M&E along with CAFM systems
- Experience with commercial facilities management
- Understanding of health and safety regulations
- Strong client facing abilities with examples of maintaining positive relationships
- IOSH or NEBOSH
