Building Services Manager, Salary up to £60K

Your new company 
You will be working for a long-established and well regarded Building Services Contractor who is looking for a Business Services Manager to join them on a permanent basis. The firm offers a flexible working policy and advanced career progression opportunities. 

Your new role 
In your new role as a Business Services manager, you will have various responsibilities between Client, Staff and Department management:
Client Management

  • Managing a dedicated portfolio of clients ensuring the service delivery runs on time and to budget
  • Reviewing assignments and ensuring quality
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor
  • Undertaking technical specialist work as needed
  • Staff Management
  • Managing and mentoring a team
  • Delivering team training needs and technical updates
  • Completing staff appraisals
  • Recruiting and inducting new employees
  • Managing team performance
  • Department Management
  • Delivering the partners\' strategy
  • Producing department KPI\'s
  • Assisting with tender writing and quotes
  • Contributing to business development
  • Any other appropriate duties


  • What you\'ll need to succeed 
    The successful candidate will have previous experience within a similar role and hold a professional qualification such as ACCA / ICAS. You will also have previous management experience and be adept at building relationships with internal and external stakeholders with a proven track record of overseeing a portfolio of clients. The successful candidate will also have excellent organisational skills, be a strong communicator and be enthusiastic, results-driven and a team player.
